After months of speculations and rumors, a listing found on Walmart.com has confirmed that we’re getting a new Ghostbusters cereal from General Mills!
From the box art shown, the cereal looks to include red fruit-flavored cereal along with white and green ghost marshmallows.
Fans will also notice that unlike the new Ghostbusters Twinkies that were revealed yesterday, the General Mills offering still features the Ghostbusters: Afterlife branding.
No information has been given yet with regards to availability, but we’ll be sure to update everyone as additional information becomes available.
The original Ghostbusters cereal was produced by Ralston back in 1985 and ran until 1990. Newer fans will likely recall Funko’s most recent attempt at a Ghostbusters cereal, offering up one inspired by Slimer and another based around the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
