The upcoming and long-awaited Ghostbusters: Afterlife continues the story of the first two films, 32 years after the last installment. While the trailers released have mainly shown new stars such as Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace, fans are eager to see the majority of stars from the original films return, such as Sigourney Weaver, who played pivotal roles in both Dana Barrett.
In a new interview with ET Canada, Weaver promoted the TIFF premiere of “The Good House.” Of course, Afterlife was brought up, with Weaver saying:
“It’s full of heart. It’s very funny. It’s very charming. And it will surprise everybody.”
Weaver also spoke highly about director Jason Reitman, saying he has “done an amazing job” on the film.
Film synopsis:
When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife arrives exclusively in theaters on November 19th, 2021.
