In news that will be sure to please longtime Ghostbusters fans, Peter Bernstein, son of original Ghostbusters composer Elmer Bernstein, has been confirmed to be assisting on the Ghostbusters: Afterlife score!
Curt Sobel shared the below image to Instagram, confirming his own involvement along with Bernstein, Mark Graham, and Greg Hayes. Also seen in the photo Ghostbusters: Afterlife composer, Rob Simonsen.

Peter’s father, Elmer Bernstein, who passed away in 2004, is likely best remembered from his work in timeless films, including To Kill A Mockingbird, The Magnificent Seven, The Age Of Innocence, and of course, Ghostbusters.

Peter Bernstein assisting on Ghostbusters: Afterlife score + new composer plays classic theme!
Peter recently worked with Sony for the 35th-anniversary celebratory event series entitled “Ghostbusters Live in Concert.” At the shows, Peter joined local orchestras as their guest conductor.
