Just in time for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, it appears that Sony and Hostess will be teaming up again for an offering of Ghostbusters branded Twinkies!
In addition to Hostess’s standard variety of Twinkies, the above image also shows what looks like a Twinkie filled with a blue slime… err, cream? Those Twinkies appear to be a Walmart exclusive - although hopefully they'll make their way over to the UK.
I'd also like to point out that the FPO text that is shown on the Twinkies boxes stands for “for placement only”, meaning the design work shown has yet to be approved by Sony Pictures.
Fans will recall that back in 2016 Hostess released a limited edition Key Lime Slime Twinkie to help celebrate the Ghostbusters reboot. These made their way to the UK and sold in Tescos.
