Starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson as a bunch of paranormal investigators tasked with saving New York City from ectoplasmic ghouls, the two comedies were restored from their original 35mm negatives and the new technology allows for four times the resolution of a full-HD 1080p TV. They've also been remixed with Dolby Atmos audio for an immersive surround-sound home-theater experience.

The new editions are being released in conjunction with director Paul Feig's new Ghostbusters movie (in theaters July 15) starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Plus, old fans can also relive more nostalgia on July 7 when more than 50 episodes of the '80s The Real Ghostbusters animated series are released digitally and on DVD!
