Hi-C Ecto Cooler Could Be Making A Comeback!

The 2010s are the new '90s, what with all the TV reunions and series reboots/revivals, and '90s movies being rereleased in cinemas for new (and old) generations to enjoy.

I ain't afraid of no fizz!

And with all the '90s nostalgia brimming on the Internet, it was only a matter of time until classic '90s food and drink items returned to grocery shelves. First, Surge made a highly-anticipated comeback in 2014, selling out on Amazon almost immediately and causing the Internet lost its mind that a drink from people's childhoods was resurfacing all these years later.

That's why the possible revival of Hi-C's hugely popular Ecto Cooler is driving millennials wild. Already a Facebook trending topic, the Twitter account Resurrect EctoCooler dropped a bombshell for fans of tasty green drinks everywhere!:

Created as a tie-in for the Ghostbusters franchise, the drink's timing for this revival and the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot featuring an all-female team of Ghost Busters is quite interesting.

There's now a can of Ecto Cooler available for auction on eBay, with the drink currently going for a whopping $233.50 (at time of posting)!

As of right now, it seems to only be available via eBay, but with all the hullabaloo spreading from a can being sold on eBay, it's only a matter of time before we see the tasty drink on shelves once again. I mean, Coca-Cola did reregister Ecto Cooler's trademark in September 2015, after all!

Let's hope this time, it's released in the UK! In other news, Twinkies are finally available in the UK!
