Chris Hemsworth is joining the cast of Paul Feig's "Ghostbusters" movie as the receptionist, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon are starring as the ghost-hunting foursome in the all-female take on the classic supernatural comedy franchise.
In keeping with the gender role reversals, Hemsworth is now the receptionist for the Ghostbusters, taking over from Janine Melnitz, a role originated by Annie Potts.
Hemsworth made a name for himself taking on manly action roles with movies such as "Thor", "Snow White and the Huntsman" and "Rush", but seems to be open to making detours in comedy. "Ghostbusters" will be his second major comedic role after his appearance in this summer's "Vacation".
