Sky1 HD To Show "Futurama" Season 7 And "The Simpsons" Season 24 From March 2013!

The official Sky Media UK website has announced the great "Futurama" news in a "The Simpsons and Futurama" Sponsorship Opportunity that 'Sky1' (also known as 'Sky One'), a subscription entertainment channel in the UK and Ireland which is the flagship channel of BSkyB (British Sky Broadcasting) and Sky 1 HD will start to premiere and show episodes from the all-new 7th season of Matt Groening's hit animated series "Futurama" in March 2013 (premiere dates and times to be confirmed by Sky 1)!

Sky 1 & Sky 1 HD are also planning to debut "The Simpsons" Season 24 in the UK during March 2013 as well.

Futurama is light years ahead of its rivals, the series scales the heady heights of The Simspons with its sharp-tongued wit. A pizza delivery boy (Philip J. Fry) is thrown into a transformed world unknown to him after being unwittingly cryogenically frozen for 1,000 years. Fry trys to use his chance at a new life working for a delivery service across the universe. His companions include Turanga Leela, a one-eyed female alien who kicks butt, and Bender Bending Rodríguez, an alcoholic robot with many human flaws.
