With Ghostbusters: Afterlife in theaters, Rob Simonsen’s motion picture score is now available to stream and download on a variety of platforms, but if you’re looking to add something physical to your collection, we were just given our first sneak peek at the packaging for the CD release!
The official Ghostbusters Instagram page posted the following:
Something strange is coming….👻 Hold on to your ecto-goggles and strap in the gunner seat as we launch the full Ghostbusters: Afterlife soundtrack. The album by Rob Simonsen is the latest chapter in the original #Ghostbusters universe.
Pre-orders are now available through Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk, with an estimated release date of November 26.
At the time, there’s currently no official word on a vinyl release, but its expected to be released during early 2022.
If you’d like to sample a few of the tracks, I do have those below, but first, I feel it’s only suitable to run through the tracklisting, as well, give everyone a brief spoiler warning, as some of the track titles do reveal a bit of the plot. Seriously, proceed with caution if you’ve yet to watch the film.
