New Ghostbusters: Afterlife TV Spot Features Rare Harold Ramis Archival Footage; Two New Germany 'Legacy' Trailers Released

A new Ghostbusters: Afterlife TV spot has surfaced, showcasing some new ( or old, depending on how you look at it) archival footage of both Janine Melnitz (Annie Potts) and Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) on the set of the original Ghostbusters film.

Check out the 30-second advert below.

In addition to the footage of both Potts and Ramis, the commercial also features dialogue from Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd), which matches up with what was written on the back of his Plasma Series card, as Ray can be heard saying:

“Take a little advice. Don’t go chasing ghosts.”

The beginning of the commercial also includes some of the audio that was heard in the new clip that was shown during Hasbro Pulse Con. If you missed it, be sure to check it out here.

Two new German trailer has also been found, featuring more archival footage from the first film, again with Egon Spengler, but this made it look like it came from a news telecast, with “BREAKING NEWS” written across the bottom of the screen.

The German trailers also contains some new footage, including a closer look series newcomer, Muncher!
